Virender Sehwag's son Aaryavir smashed a double ton in the clash between Delhi and Meghalaya in the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy at the MCA Cricket Ground in Shillong on Thursday. As per a report in the Indian Express, the teenager smashed 200 off 229 balls at a strike-rate of 87.34. His innings was laced with 34 boundaries and two maximums.

Aaryavir's effort helped Delhi gain complete authority in the proceedings as the visitors piled a mammoth 468/2 on the board at the close of play. The effort by Aaryavir helped Delhi gain a 208-run lead. Meanwhile, Arnav Bugga also scored a ton and stitched a 180-run stand for the first wicket with Aaryavir.

Bugga had earlier scalped three wickets. Meghalaya were dismissed for 260 in their first innings with pacer Udhav Mohan accounting for four scalps.
