The divorce of Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma has witnessed some stunning revelations as both individuals presented their part of the story in different podcasts. Chahal spoke in length on the subject on Raj Shamani's podcast, where he also revealed how he battled suicidal thoughts while going through this phase of his life. Dhanashree too presented her side of the story in a recent podcast with Humans of Bombay, where she also criticised the cricketer for his viral T-shirt "stunt".
While cricketers have refrained from reacting on the spinner's personal life, interestingly Suryakumar Yadav, India's T20I captain's wife, Devisha Shetty chose to voice her opinion on the subject. She shared a post on her Instagram story supporting Dhanashree for coming out and narrating her side of the story on the podcast. "So much respect and love for you," her caption read.
The couple had tied the knot in December 2020 and got divorced earlier this year after months of speculation. However, the marriage still remains a hot topic online.

Dhanashree had recently called out Chahal of playing a victim while trashing his viral "Be Your Own Sugar Daddy" t-shirt, the photo of which had gone viral on social media. “You know that people are going to blame you. Before I had even known that this T-shirt stunt had happened, we were all aware that people were going to blame me for this," Dhanashree said. Speaking further on the subject, she stated how surprised she was with Chahal's act. “Arey bhai, WhatsApp kar deta. T-shirt kyun pehna hai? (You should have sent it on WhatsApp. Why wear the T-shirt?)"
A day after the interaction, Chahal posted a cryptic message on social media, which many feel is a response to Dhanashree's comments on the podcast. Chahal dropped a picturesque post of him soaking in the quaintness at Kirkstone Pass in England. But what caught most eyes was the caption, which read: "Million feelings, Zero words."
