The upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) is gonna be sensational but some cricketers might miss the initial stage of the mega event due to injuries. It is not just Jasprit Bumrah who's waiting for clearance from the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, Avesh Khan and Sanju Samson as well are waiting for fitness clearance from the NCA in Bengaluru.
Bumrah got injured during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy last year and has been under rehab since then. A Cricbuzz report suggests that BCCI Sports Science chief Nitin Patel is personally monitoring the fast-bowler. He is likely to get fit by the end of March, although it remains to be seen when he will play for the Mumbai Indians.
MI will play their first game of the season against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 23 in Chennai. On March 29, another away game against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Ahmedabad. Their first home match will be on March 31 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in which fans can expect the fast-bowler to make a comeback on the field.
Sanju Samson underwent surgery for his right index finger fracture. He got injured during the T20I series against England last month. He has passed the fitness test but still needs clearance for his wicket-keeping. Dhruv Jurel could keep the wickets if Sanju is not available for the job.

Lucknow SuperGiants are waiting for three fast-bowlers to get fit - Mohsin Khan, Avesh Khan and Mayank Yadav. While Mayank is suffering from back stress, Avesh is under rehab for knee cartilages.
Details about Mohsin's injury remain scarce. The left-arm pacer last played a domestic match on December 31, during a Vijay Hazare Trophy game between Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh. In that match, the 26-year-old bowled just 5.5 overs, and since then, there has been minimal information about his condition.
LSG anticipates that at least two, if not all three, of their key pacers will be cleared to play before their opening match against the Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam on March 24. Having invested heavily in these fast bowlers, the team sees them as the core of their pace attack.
