Former India captain and ex-BCCI president Sourav Ganguly looked in no mood of diplomacy and urged BCCI to end all cricketing ties with Pakistan post the gruesome incident in Kashmir's Pahalgam. Speaking to reporters in reportedly Kolkata, the Indian cricketing legend expressed that India should stop engaging with Pakistan even in the ICC and Asian tournaments.

Ganguly was responding to cricketing relations between the two countries, during which the ex-cricketer highlighted the incidents of terrorism taking place in India almost every year. "100 per cent, India should do this (break ties with Pakistan). Strict action should be taken. It has turned out to be a joke that such things are happening every year. Terrorism cannot be tolerated," Ganguly was quoted as saying by India Today.

At least 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed when terrorists opened fire at Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam on Tuesday. In wake of the ghastly Pahalgam terror attack, India announced several diplomatic measures including suspension of the Indus Water Treaty of 1960 and the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme (SVES) for Pakistani nationals, expulsion of Pakistani military attaches, and closing the Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Attari among others.
