January 3: Wolf Moon Supermoon 

The first Supermoon of 2026 occurs on January 3. It is a full Wolf Moon near perigee, appearing brighter. The Moon will be visible worldwide, except polar regions during polar night. This supermoon will be visible in North and South America, Europe, Africa and parts of Asia.

It will be a peak full moon at 5:03 A.M. EST. The Wolf Moon will appear slightly larger and brighter than normal. No equipment is required to enjoy this spectacular lunar sight.
