It will be a peak full moon at 5:03 A.M. EST. The Wolf Moon will appear slightly larger and brighter than normal. No equipment is required to enjoy this spectacular lunar sight.
November 24: The Beaver Moon Supermoon explained
The second Supermoon of 2026 falls on November 24. This full Beaver Moon is also near perigee, enhancing its brightness. It will be visible across the Northern Hemisphere, with partial visibility in the Southern Hemisphere.
The best location to watch this supermoon are North America, Europe and Asia, at 5:59 A.M. EST. The Beaver Moon can look 6–7% larger and 12% brighter than a normal full moon.
December 24: The Cold Moon Supermoon
The final Supermoon of 2026 occurs on December 24, known as the Cold Moon. It will be visible mostly in the Northern Hemisphere, with partial views in the Southern Hemisphere. Countries such as North America, Europe and East Asia will witness this night sky event.
The moon will be at its peak at 6:33 A.M. EST. The Cold Moon will appear largest and brightest of the year. This will be a perfect opportunity for lunar photography. Its bright glow may light up winter skies beautifully.
