Siddhartha Gautama, more commonly known as the Buddha, wasn't always an enlightened teacher. Driven by a burning question 'how to overcome suffering?' Siddhartha embarked on a path of self-discovery. He spent years practicing meditation and asceticism, searching for answers. Finally, at Bodh Gaya in India, he attained enlightenment, a state of liberation known as Nirvana. This experience transformed him into the Buddha, the Enlightened One.

The real story of Siddharth Gautam

Siddhartha, amidst the opulence of the palace, married with a son, enjoyed every luxury as his father's heir until he encountered the Four Signs. Whether he witnessed the old man, the sick man, the dead man, and the ascetic in quick succession during a single carriage ride, or over four days, the narrative describes how he questioned his charioteer, "Am I also subject to this?" The charioteer affirmed that aging, sickness, and death were inevitable for all.
