In a significant diplomatic development, US President Joe Biden is keenly anticipating discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the "coming weeks," as conveyed by top White House aide Jake Sullivan during his recent visit to Beijing.

Sullivan, marking his role as the first US national security advisor to visit China since 2016, met with Xi on Thursday after concluding three days of crucial talks in the Chinese capital. During his visit, Sullivan also engaged with Foreign Minister Wang Yi and other senior officials.
