On December 3, while on one of his any Twitter tirades, this one against former attorney Michael Cohen, Trump tweeted, ‘“Michael Cohen asks judge for no Prison Time.” You mean he can do all of the TERRIBLE, unrelated to Trump, things having to do with fraud, big loans, Taxis, etc., and not serve a long prison term? He makes up stories to get a GREAT & ALREADY reduced deal for himself, and get.....his wife and father-in-law (who has the money?) off Scott Free.” #ScottFree got a life of its own on the microblogging site. Making yet another strong pitch for people to come into the US based on merit, US President Donald Trump said Wednesday that tolerance for illegal immigration is not compassionate -- it is cruel.

Trump, in his annual State of the Union address, said: "We have a moral duty to create an immigration system that protects the lives and jobs of our citizens".

The lawless state of the southern Mexico border is a threat to the safety, security and financial well-being of all Americans, he said.

"This (moral duty) includes our obligation to the millions of immigrants living here today, who followed the rules and respected our laws. Legal immigrants enrich our nation and strengthen our society in countless ways. I want people to come into our country, but they have to come in legally," said the US President in his address to a joint session of the US Congress.
