This is the first such visit of a senior Chinese leader in the last two years since the Galwan Valley clash soured ties between the two countries.

Wang was in Afghanistan on Thursday after this three-day visit to Pakistan. The visit by the minister comes at a time when India had rejected his remarks on Kashmir at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting in Islamabad.
