IMD issues yellow alert for Hyderabad as temp soar across Telangana

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has issued a yellow advisory for the city and surrounding areas as the heatwave in Telangana continues to worsen. The meteorological service predicts that temperatures in four parts of the state will be between 36 and 40 degrees Celsius.

According to the department, the highest temperatures in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Nirmal, and Mancherial would be between 36 and 40 degrees Celsius.

In Hyderabad, the highest maximum temperature of 36.3 degrees Celsius was recorded in Musheerabad. Hyderabad will witness a partly cloudy sky till February 27 and also predicted a misty or hazy conditions to prevail during morning hours, IMD said.
