CNBC-TV18's Storyboard takes you on the road of innovation with Volkswagon and Verghese Kurien while tracking cricketstar Yuvaraj Singh's return after recovering from cancer.

The lost art of print advertising and how to revive it
This week Volkswagon released what it called a 'shivering ad' in three leading national dailies. The German car maker was looking to recreate the impact it made two years ago with its talking ad. Innovations like this, false covers, pull outs, half front pages and more are what brands are doing to make an impact with their print spends.

Nearly a year after being diagnosed with a rare germ cell cancer, Yuvraj Singh has returned to international cricket. Although India lost the T20 match to New Zealand by a run, Yuvraj bowled two quick overs, scored 34 runs off 26 balls and took a catch.
His story has captured our imagination. Pavni Mittal reports that at least three new brands are expected to sign him on soon and his endorsement fee is expected to jump up by about 40%. And why marketers should emulate Verghese Kurien - our tribute to the man who created the taste of India
Verghese Kurien passed away last Sunday at the grand old age of 90. The man who started the milk revolution and empowered farmers across India, was the founder-chairman of the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation or the GCMMF, that has a turnover of Rs 13,000 crore today and manages Amul, India's largest food brand. In our tribute to Kurien we look at how he set the vision for brand Amul and how a food technologist fostered this country's most iconic advertising.
