It's a Cannes special On CNBC-TV18's special show Storyboard. The international festival of creativity, better known as the Cannes Lions festival is the most important awards show for the global advertising and marketing community. Indian advertising agencies spend a lot of money and effort to participate here and this is the India story.
Three golds, three silvers, eight bronzes, India's Lion tally at Cannes was shared between TapRoot, DDB Mudra, McCann Ericson, Leo Burnett, Cheil Communications, BBDO, Ogilvy and the production BabbleFish. This years performance is about the highs reached and sustained since 2008 in which India also won a Grand Prix.
