The smartphone market has seen a slew of top notch launches in 2013. Manufacturers all around the world are in a cut throat competition to gain share in the Android smartphone market.

In an attempt to keep its dominating position in the Android smartphone market, Korean manufacturer Samsung launched its latest flagship device, the Galaxy S4. CNBC-TV18's special show for tech geeks, Switch, finds out what this new offering from Samsung has to present.

Along with that, trying to improve its share in the smartphone market, Sony launched its latest Android phone, the Xperia Z. The company claims to have put in all the best of Sony in this smartphone. But will it be enough for the company to improve its spot in the market? Ankit Vengurlekar and Naomi Dutta find out.
