CNBC-TV18 and Ernst and Young (E&Ys) Passion to Win, a three-part series brings you up close and personal with the winners of Ernst and Young entrepreneur of the year awards 2012. These are men and women who have created profitable businesses braving the odds, leaders who have taken risks to create new categories and enter new markets, achievers who have created value for share holders and the economy. CNBC-TV-18’s Shereen Bhan reports.

One of the winner is Naresh Trehan, one of the best and well-respected Indian doctor in the US in the 1980’s. He took a call to return to India and open Escorts Hearts and Research Centre in New Delhi, one of the best cardiology hospitals in the country.

Another winner is T T Jagannathan, a man who returned to India to turn around some loss-making companies. Jagannathan is the man credited with the success of the TTK Group. The third is someone who calls himself an ‘accidental entrepreneur’. Dhiraj Rajaram, chairman & CEO, Mu Sigma heads a company that boasts of having several Fortune 500 companies as clients.
