The Central Board of Direct Taxes (‘CBDT’) has issued detailed Draft Guiding Principles for determination of the Place of Effective Management (’POEM’) of companies. Comments and suggestions have been invited from stakeholders and the general public in respect of the draft guidelines by 2 January 2016.
