‘National jiju’ Nick Jonas is winning hearts with his Karwa Chauth post for wife Priyanka Chopra. On Thursday, Jonas jumped on the ‘Looking like a wow’ meme-wagon with an Instagram Story for Chopra, who celebrated Karwa Chauth in Mumbai before flying back to the US.
For those who may not be aware, the ‘Just looking like a wow’ social media trend has gone crazy viral online. It started when a woman named Jasmeen Kaur used the sentence “So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow” to describe an outfit she was selling on her Instagram Store.
Pretty soon, this sentence was being used everywhere – from being remixed into songs to being omnipresent on Reels. It even found a place on Deepika Padukone’s Instagram. And after Deepika, it was Nick Jonas’s turn to use it – and he did so on the occasion of Karwa Chauth.
Nick Jonas shared a picture of Priyanka Chopra dressed in a green Sabyasachi saree and wrote: “So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow.”
Looks like Jonas is in touch with the trends exploding on the Indian social media scene.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in 2018. Their daughter Malti Marie was born in January 2022 via a surrogate. The couple is based in Los Angeles, although Chopra reportedly maintains apartments in New York and Mumbai as well. She was recently in Mumbai for work and attended the JIO Mami Film Festival in the city.
