Smartphone may serve as car key for Zoomcar

Next time you pick up Zoomcar's self-driven cars, your smartphone could serve as the car key. Ford Motor backed Zoomcar has launched in-car platform -- Cadabra -- which also claims to make driving safer by tracking parameters such as engine health, seatbelt usage and inconsistent acceleration. CNBC TV18'S Adith Charlie spoke to Zoomcar’s CEO, Greg Moran, who said that Cadabra platform will be installed in cars that are leased to the company under the Zoomcar Associate Programme.
