Elon Musk, who runs electric car maker Tesla, social media platform X, and space company SpaceX, had planned a trip to India last April. But he put it off, saying he had "pressing issues" at Tesla. For his father, this delay seems like a missed chance.

When the Tesla CEO does finally visit, he's expected to talk about investments. His companies, Tesla and Starlink (SpaceX's internet service by satellite), are both set to launch in India.
