Kiara Advani-Sidharth Malhotra
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra got married in the presence of close friends and family in a lavish wedding at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Hotel in February. Their link-up rumours started doing the rounds as soon as shooting of their film “Shershaah” began. While Kiara opted for a beauitiful pink lehenga by Manish Malhotra, Sidharth complemented her well in a gold sherwani adorned with zari embroidery. Kiara walked down the aisle while a reprised version of hit song “Ranjha” played in the background and fans couldn’t keep calm.
Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha
Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra tied the knot with politician Raghav Chadha at a grand ceremony attended by their family and friends. The couple’s nuptials took place at Udaipur’s Taj Lake Palace in September and Chopra walked down the aisle as a “O Piya”, a song crooned by her played in the background. They wore colour-coded outfits for their wedding and looked absolutely dreamy. Several videos and pictures of their intimate yet elaborate ceremony went viral with fans in a tizzy.
Athiya Shetty-KL Rahul
The Bollywood actor and the Indian cricketer got married in an intimate ceremony in January at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala. The couple had been dating since three years and said “I do” in the presence of close family and friends. Shetty chose to wore a gorgeous champagne pink lehenga paired with Rahul’s classic ivory sherwani. Meanwhile, according to reports, there was a no-phone policy at the ceremony as well.
Randeep Hooda-Lin Laishram
A very recent wedding, Randeep Hooda tied the knot with his longtime sweetheart Lil Laishram on November 29. The couple got married in Imphal, Manipur in a traditional Metei wedding. The ceremony was quite private and the duo were dressed in Manipuri outfits. While Hooda wore a traditional white ethic attire, Laishram was in a Manipuri costume called Potloi.
Swara Bhasker-Fahad Ahmad
Actor Swara Bhasker registered her marriage to politician Fahad Ahmad on February 16. The couple opted for a simple court marriage in Delhi. The “Veere Di Wedding” actor and the state president of Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha also hosted a grand wedding reception in the Capital. The duo had met during a rally in January 2020. They also welcomed a baby girl, whom they named Raabiyaa, on September 23.
