While Taylor Swift clinched her fourth Album of the Year award, Miley Cyrus tasted success for the first time at the Grammy's, winning the award in the Best Pop Solo Performance category and later in the Record of the Year category.

The Crypto.com Arena, LA hosted the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. Marking the fourth consecutive year, US comedian and actor Trevor Noah returned as the host.

Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain clinched the Grammy award for Best Global Music Performance for his contribution to "Pashto," collaborating with Bela Fleck and Edgar Meyer, featuring Rakesh Chaurasia. Three-time Grammy winner Ricky Kej hailed Hussain as "a living legend." Hussain beat contenders such as Shadow Forces by Arooj Aftab and Vijay Iyer, as well as Falu's "Abundance in Millets", featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chaurasia also secured a Grammy in the Contemporary Instrumental Album category.

The ensemble "Shakti," featuring guitarist John McLaughlin, Hussain, vocalist Shankar Mahadevan, percussionist V Selvaganesh, and violinist Ganesh Rajagopalan, secured the Grammy award in the Best Global Music Album category for their work on "This Moment."

Taylor Swift made history at the Grammys by winning Album of the Year for the fourth time, surpassing Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra. During the ceremony, Celine Dion presented her with the award, and Swift unveiled a surprise new album, "The Tortured Poets Department", set to release on April 19.
