A Delhi school student was suspended after he wrote "Thala" to every answer in his Maths exam. The boy, identified only as Gajodhar, is a fan of MS Dhoni and it was apparently his way to express admiration for the former India skipper, The Cricket Lounge reported. "Thala" is a Tamil term of respect for a leader.

Dhoni's calm and composed demeanor on the field coupled with his brilliant leadership skills as the captain of IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) earned him the nickname.

But Gajodhar’s unorthodox approach resulted in his suspension and ignited a debate on the influence of sports icons on the younger generation.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is still playing in the IPL and has been retained by CSK for IPL 2024. While fans believe that nothing is impossible for their "Thala", Dhoni recently revealed that there indeed is something that he can't do.

At a recent event, when he was asked if he could create videos for YouTube Dhoni said, "Just now I was talking about this. Someone even asked me the same. Woh bolte hai 'mere se na ho payega' (I won't be able to do it), because it's very tough. I won't say I am very camera conscious but it doesn't come to me. So, I am very happy to have a one-on-one conversation. I am more of an in-person kid of a man. When it comes to YouTube I don't think I will be able to do it."
