The UPA meeting on UP sugar crisis ended without any decision. Finance Minister P Chidambaram said decision will be taken next week.
However, agriculture minister Sharad Pawar said: "The government is not in a position to give any money." However, he wants cane crushing to start in Uttar Pradesh, though he refused to talk to the UP government about sugarcane prices.
