Parliament's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has decided to take up the CAG report on the contentious AgustaWestland choppers issue apart from over half-a-dozen other defence-related matters.

A bulletin issued by Lok Sabha on May 27 said that the PAC, which is headed by Congress member K V Thomas, has selected these subjects based on various reports of the CAG pertaining to several ministries and departments for examining them during 2016-17.

At the first meeting of the newly-constituted PAC on May 18, a strong demand was made by members of BJP for taking up the CAG report on the VVIP chopper deal.
