Narendra Modi government is in the cross-hairs of the Opposition in Parliament over recent attack on Dalits in Gujarat's Una district.
The discussion on atrocities against Dalits is scheduled at 2 PM in the Upper House. The notice for the debate was given by BSP chief Mayawati and TMC's Derek O'Brien.
On Wednesday, the issue reverberated in Lok Sabha with opposition demanding a parliamentary committee probe which was turned down by the Centre. Opposition members took exception to Home minister Rajnath Singh's praise for the Gujarat government's handling of the issue.
