Ever since the Companies Act 2013 made it mandatory for companies to spend 2 percnet of their net profit on corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, India Inc has increased its activities in this area.

But while the Act is relatively new, the Tata Group is already a step ahead and has been running the Tata Social Internship Program for the last seven years as a major CSR initiative of theirs. Now in its eighth year, here's a glimpse of what Tata Social Internships are all about.
