Despite hopes, the Winter Session of Parliament failed to approve crucial bills related to reforms. But HT Media editorial director Shobhana Bhartia is ready to give credit to the government for its recent political wins and believes that reforms will eventually come riding on BJP’s poll performance.In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Bhartia said the government did well in Lok Sabha but messed up in Rajya Sabha. The Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Bill which provides for fresh auction of 204 coal blocks de-allocated by the Supreme Court in September, remained pending in the Rajya Sabha even though the Lok Sabha passed it on December 12.
