It was another stormy day in the Parliament. This time, it was over the Home Minister P Chidambaram. Today's trigger has been the CBI court admitting Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy's plea against Chidambaram in the 2G case.

Swamy will now take the witness box on the December 17 to provide further evidence in support of his private complaint against the home minister. Speaking to CNBC-TV18's Arunima, Swamy expressed confidence that he would be able to prove his charges against Chidambaram.
The judge has given Swamy an option to make a strong case that would directly decide on whether Chidambaram should be summoned or not.
Swamy mentioned that the judge asked him to be on the witness box first, and then after hearing him, will decide whether the other two witnesses are necessary. He further said that he has a lot of evidences and material available that the two witnesses will not add anything more significant as a turning point resulting to summon Chidambaram.
"If I present my witness well on December 17, the court can decide whether to summon Chidambaram or not on that day," he added.
When asked about the evidences or arguments, he indicated that he has already made a very strong case which would convict him any day.
