Apple is gearing up for its big push in into content streaming with the recently announced Apple TV Plus. In the build-up to the big unveil, Apple has launched an official YouTube channel under the radar.

According to MacStories, Apple launched the new TV channel about a month ago during the announcement of the Apple TV+ streaming service and a revamped Apple TV app. The new YouTube channel is dedicated to movies and television. At present, the channel features very little in terms of Apple TV Plus-related promotion; instead, focusing on trailers, behind the scenes commentary, interviews, clips and videos highlighting the Cupertino-based tech giant’s original content efforts.

Apple TV also lists several episodes of Carpool Karaoke along with a promotional video titled “The Storytellers Behind Apple TV+”. Most other videos on the service include behind-the-scene interviews and trailers of upcoming and existing movies. Videos on Apple’s new YouTube channel also seem to be free of advertisements.
