Samsung recently launched its flagship Galaxy Note 20 series at its first virtual-only Galaxy Unpacked event. Now, the South Korean tech giant has confirmed the price and arrival of the Galaxy Note 20 duo in India.
Galaxy Note 20 Price in India
The Galaxy Note 20 is priced at Rs 77,999 in India, while the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G is priced at Rs 1,04,999. Customers pre-booking the Galaxy Note 20 will be eligible for benefits worth Rs 7,000, while you can avail benefits worth Rs 10,000 when pre-booking the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. Customers can avail these pre-booking benefits on other Galaxy accessories, including the Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watches, and Galaxy Tabs, among others.
Additionally, HDFC Bank credit and debit cardholders will get cashback of up to Rs 6,000 on the Galaxy Note 20 and up to Rs 9,000 on purchase of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. Existing Galaxy smartphone users will be eligible for an upgrade, which offers an additional Rs 5,000 discount.
Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G Specs
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G will arrive with an Exynos 990 chipset with a 5G modem. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra packs a 4,500 mAh battery with a 25W charger bundled in the box. It also supports 15W wireless charging support and 9W reverse wireless charging. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution. The screen features a 120Hz refresh rate; however, you can only use the high refresh rate at FHD+ resolution. The Note 20 Ultra 5G is the first to be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
In optics, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra opts for a triple-camera setup with a 108 MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation paired with a 12 MP, f/3.0 aperture periscope shooter with 5x optical zoom, although Space Zoom is limited to 50x. The Note 20 Ultra maintains the same 12 MP, f/2.2 ultrawide sensor as the S20 Ultra. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can record video in up to 8K resolution at 24 fps. On the front, the hole-punch camera cutout houses a 10 MP, f/2.2 selfie shooter.
Galaxy Note 20 Specs
The Note 20 sports a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 1080p+ (FHD+) panel. However, the two main caveats here are that the screen refresh rate is limited to 60Hz and is protected by older Gorilla Glass 5. The punch-hole camera cutout on the Galaxy Note 20 houses a 10 MP, f/2.2 selfie camera. The Note 20 packs a 4,300 mAh capacity with the same charging capability as the Note 20 Ultra. The Galaxy Note 20 is powered by the LTE version of the Exynos 990.
The Note 20 also gets a triple camera setup but loses out on the 108 MP camera. Instead, Samsung opts for a 12 MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture with OIS and PDAF. Additionally, you get a 64 MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom, OIS, and PDAF. Lastly, the 12 MP, f/2.2 ultrawide camera is the same as the Note 20 Ultra.
Both the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra run on Android 10 with the One UI 2.1 skin. The Galaxy Note 20 series is also IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
