Namma Yatri goes live in Delhi via ONDC; says per trip cost has dropped 96%

A Namma Yatri ride used to cost the company Rs 219.5 in January 2023 which fell to Rs 8.6 by December

Juspay's mobility app, Namma Yatri, has gone live in Delhi via the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and has already onboarded more than 5,000 drivers in the national capital onto the platform.

The company, which has launched its ride-hailing services in cities like Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Kolkata over the past year, said that it has substantially improved its unit economics.

In January 2023, a Namma Yatri ride used to cost the company Rs 219.5. However, by December, this figure had dropped to Rs 8.6. Of the Rs 8.6 per trip, Rs 2 accounts for tech and data costs, while Rs 1.5 is attributed to marketing and operations.
