HTC U11+ featuring 18:9 display, 6GB RAM launched in India, priced at Rs 56,990

The phone runs on the latest 64 bit octa core Snapdragon 835 which is clocked at 2.45 GHz and features a 6GB RAM along with Adreno 540 GPU. The phone comes with a giant 128 GB internal memory which can be further expanded to 2TB through a hybrid memory card slot.

On the camera front, U11+ boasts of a 12 megapixel primary camera with the sensor aperture rate of ƒ/1.7. The main camera is capable of recording 4K videos, 1080p slow motion video at @120 fps and features Dual LED flash, 4 microphones which can record 3D Audio with acoustic focus recording. Other features include Hyperlapse, Panorama, Face detection, HDR Boost, etc.

The front camera comprises of an 8 megapixel sensor with an aperture rate of ƒ/2.0. Apart from having a 85 degree wide angle view the front camera can click selfies in Panorama mode, video recording at 1080p, auto selfie (the phone will click a selfie automatically if a user keeps still or smiles), voice selfie among others.

The 4G VoLTE capable phone comes with Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense bundled out of the box. Powering the phone is a massive 3930 mAh which according to the company provides a talk time of upto 25 hours. Other battery features include Extreme power saving mode, Quick Charge 3.0.

The phone supports both Alexa as well as Google Assistant to address your voice queries. HTC U11+ carries forward Edge Sense technology which allows a user to access various apps, contacts or quick settings by simply squeezing the sides of the phone. The phone also allows customisation where one can assign any favourite app or camera to open with Edge Sense gesture.

On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM phone supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB3.0 Type-C port and is rated at IP68 against dust and water protection. The phone is currently available in only one colour option, Amazing Silver.
