Bengaluru: Ohm Global Mobility to supply 320 AC e-buses to BMTC for airport routes, tech corridors

This is the first time the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is introducing air-conditioned e-buses. Officials said that they will replace old Volvo buses with new AC e-buses on airport routes and tech corridors.

OHM Global Mobility, a subsidiary of Ashok Leyland, will soon supply 320 air-conditioned electric buses to the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).

BMTC sources told Moneycontrol that they have recently issued the Letter of Award (LOA) to OHM Global Mobility.

This is the first time BMTC is inducting air-conditioned e-buses. Currently, all existing e-buses are non-AC ones.
