Corsair launches Value Series power supplies

Corsair, a designer and supplier of components to the PC gaming hardware market, has announced the launch of the India-specific Value Series (VS) power supply units. VS PSUs are available in four different wattages: 350W, 450W, 550W, and 650W. As per a statement by the company, these PSUs are up to 85 percent more efficient and produce less noise as compared to traditional PSUs. Corsair claims that with a 120mm fan, connectors and long cables, VS PSUs deliver excellent airflow. They come in black colour, the black cable sleeving and black connectors offer a large diameter, thermally controller fan, and are nearly silent when running at idle. These features contribute to the high energy-efficiency of up to 85 percent. The high efficiency also results in reduced heat, allowing the VS to operate in a silent mode until the PSU load reaches 40 percent of the maximum power rating. Click here for full story
