BioWare asks fans if next Mass Effect should be prequel or sequel

Recently, BioWare had taken to asking the fans about what they would like in the next Mass Effect game. According to Eurogamer, the company is now looking forward to its fans' opinion about whether the next game in the series should take place before or after the Mass Effect trilogy.BioWare's Casey Hudson asked on Twitter, "Parsing through your thoughts on the next #ME game. Would you be more interested in a game that takes place before the trilogy, or after?" While both are interesting ideas, both could have problems in execution. While prequels to the trilogy could possibly create a problem with the already established canon, a sequel, on the other hand, could be forced to have to decide between which of the Mass Effect 3's disappointing endings is canon.
