LG set to introduce their next generation smartphone in India

The year 2012 has seen the introduction of smartphones with quad-core processors, and in turn, the beginning of a new phase in mobile technology.

The year 2012 has seen the introduction of smartphones with quad-core processors, and in turn, the beginning of a new phase in mobile technology. We have already witnessed the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III and the HTC One X in India, both handsets featuring quad-core processors. These handsets have done really well in the Indian market and have set the benchmark for smartphones. One may wonder when the competition would enter the fray and try to claim a share of the spotlight from these brands. With LG having an event this evening, the brand could unveil their quad-core offering, the Optimus 4X HD, a handset which is yet to make an entrance in India. Click here for full story
