Blast rocks Apple supplier's plant in Shanghai

A blast in one of Pegatron Corp's subsidiary plants, also one of Apple's suppliers in Shanghai has injured 61 workers, confirms Reuters. The plant in question belongs to Riteng Computer Accessory Co, located in Songjiang industrial park. This particular plant would produce back panel parts for the iPad 2. The plant, however, has not begun operations fully and a section of the unit is still under pre-operation inspection. Click here for full story
