BJP leader Laxman Dhoble announced on Friday his intention to join the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). The move, which Dhoble said would happen in the coming days, is driven by his dissatisfaction with his current party’s alliance with Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

Dhoble, a former guardian minister of Solapur district, met with Sharad Pawar in Mumbai to discuss his future with the party. Explaining his reasons for considering this shift, Dhoble pointed out that his disenchantment with Ajit Pawar dates back to his earlier departure from the undivided NCP.

"I had left the NCP because I was fed up with Ajit Pawar," Dhoble revealed. "But after joining the BJP, I find myself in a similar position due to their alliance with him. That's why I've decided to return to Sharad Pawar's camp."

While he has yet to make an official announcement, Dhoble emphasized that he will consult his supporters before finalizing his decision to leave the BJP. The decision is expected to come within the next two days.
