G20 leaders to discuss implementation of New Delhi declaration at virtual meet on Nov 22

The virtual G20 Leaders' Summit, which will be held on November 22, will see top global leaders discuss the implementation of the New Delhi Leaders' Declaration, among other issues.

The leaders could also discuss other issues, although senior Indian bureaucrats refused to "pre-judge" their deliberations.

"Since our successful hosting of the G20 Leaders' Summit on September 9-10 and the unanimous adoption of the New Delhi Leaders' Declaration, the world has actually witnessed a succession of events and several new challenges have emerged," Amitabh Kant, India's G20 Sherpa, told reporters on November 21.

The virtual summit will begin at 5:30PM on November 22 and is expected to last for a maximum of three hours. The Indian G20 Presidency is expected to hold a briefing afterwards.
