The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Delhi as rain continues to lash many parts of the capital and NCR. The city is expected to remain cloudy on Sunday, with moderate rain predicted. The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 28.2 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's normal, while the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels stood at 7.8 percent at 8:30 AM.

The IMD has warned of torrential rains in several states until August 2. According to Skymet Weather, moderate to heavy rain is expected in parts of Konkan and Goa on Sunday. Light to moderate rainfall is also anticipated in Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Coastal Karnataka and Odisha may experience heavy rain, while Sikkim, Northeast India, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal are expected to see light to moderate rain with occasional heavy showers.
