Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, said the outcomes of his visit to Jordan marked a “meaningful and important” step in expanding ties between New Delhi and Amman, highlighting growing cooperation across areas ranging from clean energy to digital innovation.

Taking to microblogging site X, the Prime Minister said the wide-ranging agreements reflected the deepening India-Jordan partnership.

“Cooperation in new and renewable energy demonstrates our shared commitment to clean growth, energy security and climate responsibility,” he said, adding that both countries were working together to advance sustainable development while addressing global climate challenges.

Emphasising water security, PM Modi noted, “Collaboration in water resources management and development will help us share best practices in conservation, efficiency and technology, ensuring long-term water security.”

The Prime Minister also underscored the cultural and people-centric outcomes of the visit.
