Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday issued a stern warning to Pakistan declaring that the sponsors of terror in the neighbouring country must understand that nothing in Pakistan is beyond the reach of the Indian Army. During his visit to army personnel stationed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar Sector, Sinha highlighted India's global stature and saluted the Indian Armed Forces' valour during Operation Sindoor.
The J&K Lieutenant Governor said, “The whole world has seen the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces and then enemy started pleading all over the world for ceasefire. There is nothing in Pakistan that is beyond the reach of the Indian Army.”
Speaking to the soldiers, he emphasized how Pakistan's aggression ultimately backfired and pointed out that the enemy country was surviving on debt and utilising borrowed money to destroy humanity. “Our neighbour is bent on destroying humanity on the strength of debt. I think they must have learnt a lesson from the reply given by our brave soldier," he said.
In his address, Sinha expressed profound gratitude to the soldiers, and said, "I salute your valour, bravery and devotion towards Maa Bharti and pray to God that whenever such a crisis comes, the people should know that our country is in the safe hands of heroes like you.”
During his visit, the Lieutenant Governor also reviewed security measures along with army and police officials. He reaffirmed nation's confidence in its defence forces, and said, "The country is grateful to our Armed Forces for protecting lives and ensuring the sanctity of our borders with alertness, dedication, bravery, and supreme sacrifice."
Sinha said he had full confidence that the Indian Armed Forces would handle any provocations from Pakistan effectively, stating, "I am confident that our Jawans will firmly deal with any misadventure by the enemy."
Earlier, while asserting that India has always stood for peace, the J&K Lieutenant Governor had said that the recent attack in Pahalgam was nothing short of an "act of war" perpetrated by Pakistan.
He said the Indian armed forces avenged the attack through Operation Sindoor, a mission that he said should serve as a lesson to the neighbour. "India always advocated for peace. It never wants a war but what happened in Pahalgam was an act of war by terror state Pakistan", Sinha said.
"With Operation Sindoor, we have avenged Pahalgam. I am proud of our soldiers and armed forces. Our war was to teach Pakistan a lesson," he added.
