After responding to the Supreme Court about his overstay in his official bungalow asking it be vacated at the earliest, former Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud has spoken to the media about the issue.

In an interview with NDTV, former CJI Chandrachud spoke about his two foster daughter's health conditions and how finding another house catering to their special needs has been a challenge.

Justice Chandrachud highlighted moving into any house is not an easy option for his family.

The Supreme Court had told the Centre to ensure that Justice Chandrachud, who retired in November, vacates the Chief Justice's official residence at the earliest.
