A property dispute in Mumbai has translated into a deadly chain of events involving betrayal, murder, and a plot gone wrong. The drama unfolded when two property dealers, Aamir Khanzada and Sumit Jain, both residents of Nerul, went missing.

The two are missing since August 21, with their abandoned car found two days later near the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

According to Navi Mumbai Police, the saga began with a spur over a 3.5-acre land deal in Raigad. Jain had fraudulently acquired the land for Rs 2 crore using a fake owner. On the night of August 21, Jain and Nakade executed their plan. Khanzada was shot and his body was disposed of near Karnala Bird Sanctuary. Jain then staged a fake kidnapping by having himself shot in the leg to avert suspicion. However, the plot took another fatal twist when the contract killer they had hired demanded full payment after Khanzada's murder.

In an altercation, they stabbed Jain, who died of excessive blood loss. His body was later found on the Pen-Khopoli Road.
