After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to poll-bound Bihar on Friday, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav took a veiled dig and made a sarcastic reference to the weather forecast, saying there was a “heavy rain of lies” and a “hail of false promises” in the state today.

“Weather warning in the interest of Bihar- Today there is heavy rain of lies, false promises (jumlas) and illusions in Bihar, hailstones of false and tempting promises are also falling along with thunder, be careful,” he said in a post on X.

He also released a AI-generated parody video taking swipes at the PM and Nitish Kumar. The video has a mix of lookalikes created using artificial intelligence software and genuine footage from PM Modi's public events. A song that accompanied the video repeatedly mentioned the words "jumlo ki baarish" - a familiar line that the Opposition has been using while criticising PM Modi and his party, BJP.

The clip further showed a man holding an umbrella amid thunderstorms, signifying the vulnerability of people from a ‘hail of false promises’.
