Quick commerce firms like Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart are cashing in on the festival of Raksha Bandhan by offering curated Rakhi gifts and prizes.
Zomato-owned Blinkit has expanded its services internationally for this occasion which will help people living abroad send rakhis to their relatives in India.
“We have activated international orders on Blinkit until August 19. People living abroad can now place orders to send rakhis and gifts to their siblings in India, and we’ll deliver within 10 minutes,” said Albinder Dhindsa, founder and chief executive officer of the company.
The company is also offering free delivery on all rakhi purchases in India.

Similarly, Zepto is offering 'shagun ka lifafa' under its newly launched campaign - Rakhi Aapki, Lifafa Humara.
Inside the special Rakhi envelope, the company is offering scratch cards with a chance to win prizes worth Rs 5 crore, including cars, a Dubai trip, iPhones, and more on August 17, 18, and 19.
Swiggy Instamart sold 5 times more Rakhis till August 18, a day before Raksha Bandhan than it did in the whole of 2023.
Raksha Bandhan is an Indian festival that represents the pure bond between brothers and sisters and is celebrated by tying rakhis.
