Members of the Bajrang Dal allegedly confronted a group of Christian people in Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar, accusing them of engaging in religious proselytisation because they were wearing Santa Claus hats, and forced them to leave the area.

According to a post shared on X, the group, which included women and children wearing Santa caps, was confronted by activists of the right-wing organisation. The activists allegedly asked them to leave the spot and told them such activities should be done at home and not in public.

The post further claimed that Bajrang Dal members misbehaved with the women during the confrontation.

Moneycontrol could not independently verify the claims made in the video shared on social media.

Bajrang Dal has been involved in multiple incidents over several years where they have forced individuals or groups wearing Santa caps or celebrating Christmas to leave, accusing them of attempting to promote religious conversions.
