Today is the seventy-third day of India's nationwide lockdown, which was enforced to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The lockdown, which began on March 25, will be gradually lifted in phases. The lockdown continues till June 30 in containment zones.
Globally, over 66.3 lakh infections and nearly 4 lakh deaths have been reported during the novel coronavirus pandemic, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

Gradual fall in recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in Delhi in last 10 days: Data
Amid surge in coronavirus cases, recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in the national capital has gradually fallen in the last 10 days, dipping to 39.58 percent as reported on June 4, according to official figures.
This is the first time in the past two weeks that the recovery rate has fallen below 40 percent.
Barring June 1, when it saw a spike of 990 cases, Delhi has been recording over 1,000 fresh cases everyday from May 28-June 4, the highest being 1,513 on June 3.
Delhi recorded 1,359 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday, taking the COVID-19 tally in the city to over 25,000-mark, and the death toll due to the disease mounted to 650, authorities said.

Lord Balaji temple to reopen for public darshan from June 11
The famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at nearby Tirumala will reopen for devotees from June 11 but with very limited numbers per day, more than 80 days after public darshan was stopped due to coronavirus pandemic, top temple officials said on Friday.
"Only 6,000 devotees per day as against the normal rush over 60,000 would be allowed entry and COVID-19 precautionary measures, including six feet distance between each other and wearing of face mask, would be strictly followed," officials of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which administers the ancient shrine, said.
Children aged below 10 years and elderly people above 65 would not be allowed into the shrine, thronged by devotees from across the country and overseas throughout the year, they said.

The Health Ministry on June 4 issued a list of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for malls, restaurants, hotels and places of religious worship under its phased unlock plan.
The notice laid down mandatory guidelines that all such establishments will have to follow to operate, only if they are located in a containment zone.

Rajasthan reported 68 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Friday, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 9,930, an official said.
While 23 cases were reported from Jhalawar, 20 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Bharatpur. The government on Thursdayinformed that as many as 1.07 lakh Indians strandedin foreign countries have been brought back into the country since the beginning of the Vande Bharat Mission on May 7.
In the first phase of the mission from May 7 to 15, the government evacuated around 15,000 people from 12 countries. The second phase of the evacuation mission was scheduled from May 17 to 22. However, the government has extended it till June 13.
