3.34 pm: The Bihar Board BSEB has announced Class 12/Intermediate 2021 board exam results on the official websites.

3.24 pm: Press Briefing has started. Result to be available at website anytime

Anand Kishore, chairperson of the Bihar Board, along with Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Hon'ble Minister of Education & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Bihar, and Sanjay Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary have reached the BSEB headquarters. The result is first announced during a press briefing after which the result link is activated online. There is a slight delay regarding the result announcement, news18 has reported.

Commerce - 93.26%

In 2020, the overall pass percentage was 80.44 percent passed in the Class 12 board exam.

3.12 pm: Last year results

In 2020, Neha Kumari had topped the board and the Science stream with 476 marks out of 500. Sakshy Kumari had topped in Arts stream and Kausar Fatma and Sudhanshu Narayan Choudhary had topped the Commerce stream.

3.08 pm: Toppers to get laptops, cash prize

Toppers in all the three streams – Science, Arts and Commerce – will receive cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each. The second and third rank holders will get Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000. The top three rank holders will also receive laptops and a kindle e-readers.

3.00 pm: How many marks needed to pass?

While students have to get 33 per cent marks overall and pass each subject individually. Even if a student fails in one subject and has appeared for six subjects the marks for the additional subject will be added. Further, the board has a grace marks policy under which if a student fails in one subject by 8 percent or less or in two subjects by not more than 4 percent in each, he/ she will be given the needed marks and promoted to the next class.

Click on 'BSEB Class 12 Result'.

Class 12 students can select their respective stream.

Keep your admit card handy and fill all the login credentials.

Click on submit. Your results will appear on the screen. Download or take a printout for future use.

2.35 pm: BSEB last year had released a notification regarding the Class 12/intermediate exams. It said that if a student fails in the compulsory subject, the marks of the additional chosen subject by the student will be added to the marks list. Additionally, the board had also introduced project work for internal assessment from year 2020-21, India.com has reported.
