Bhupender Yadav demands apology from Congress on Malegon blast acquittals for ‘tainting Hinduism’

Opposition is attacking all democratic institutions by design, Yadav said.

Union Environment Minister and senior BJP leader Bhupender Yadav has alleged that the Congress must apologise for “trying to taint Hinduism” by fabricating the “saffron terror” narrative in the Malegaon blast case. Speaking to News18in an interview, Yadav said that after the court acquittals in the case, Congress leaders have gone silent “like they have lost the ability to speak.”

On Malegaon blast case acquittals, he claimed that appeasement for vote bank politics had been the Congress’s “open secret for decades” and cited a retired ATS officer Mehiboob Mujawar’s statement that there was pressure to arrest RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

“Rahul Gandhi even said Hindu terror is more deadly than Lashkar-e-Taiba. This shows the Congress party’s true intentions,” Yadav told News18, adding that the party should apologise for “trying to dent Sanatan.”

"While on the one hand, they cried that terror has no religion when it was minorities caught in terror attacks, and they fabricated a whole case to dent Sanatan by claiming terror is saffron," he told News18.
