A 34-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh died by suicide at his residence in Bengaluru. Atul Subhash, who worked at a private firm, left behind a 24-page suicide note in which he accused his wife and her relatives of harassment.

Initial investigations suggest that Subhash had been facing marital issues, and his wife had filed a case against him in Uttar Pradesh. Before taking the drastic step, he sent the suicide note via email to several people and shared it in a WhatsApp group associated with an NGO he was part of.

According to the police, Subhash hung a placard in his house that read “Justice is due”.

Before taking the extreme step, he allegedly pasted important details on a cupboard, including information about his death note, vehicle keys, and a list of tasks he had completed and those still pending, the officer said.
